Rebecca Bomann is motivated by her passion to serve others. She believes that the purchase or sale of a client’s home is a significant life event, one that deserves the very best guidance, representation, and support. Rebecca’s real estate career is best defined by the extra miles she goes for clients to provide the best outcome, no matter the obstacles or circumstances.
Beginning with her years in social work, Rebecca’s career has always been about helping others. She assisted women and their children who needed to flee from an abusive home life, worked with homeless families as executive director of a non-profit, and volunteered as a hospital advocate for rape victims. During her year-long stay in South America, she worked in and lived as a resident in poor ghettos, helping build fresh water pipelines, helping build homes, teaching English, and aiding families in crisis. Prior to entering real estate, Rebecca cared for her grandfather in her home during the last 16 months of his life, gaining a first-hand understanding of the challenges of aging and caregiving.
In 2005, Rebecca founded SASH to be a real estate brokerage that would be focused on making a difference in the lives of clients and their families. Unique in its wide and flexible range of services and options, SASH is able to assist clients in a way that no other brokerage can.
As Founder and CEO of SASH, as well as a Realtor® and Senior Home Sale Specialist, Rebecca leads the company’s operations and also serves individual clients and families. In representing a client with their home sale, she brings her experience of managing the renovations of 150+ homes, and the important aspects of preparing a home for maximum appeal to the market. Her extensive knowledge in elder care and social work, together with 15+ years in real estate, provide a blend of expertise that fuels her work on behalf of others. It also fuels the mission of the company, of professional excellence and outstanding service to clients.
Rebecca graduated summa cum laude from Hamilton College in Clinton, NY, majoring in sociology. She enjoys spending time with her husband of 20+ years, and her two teenage sons.
Rebecca was incredibly courteous and professional throughout the entire process. She was as empathetic as she was knowledgeable, which was much appreciated during a very difficult time. The entire process was very transparent. ~ Laura C.
